My state of Florida is so rotten with corruption that no one is surprised that the corps of engineers is now sacrificing the entire eastern central Florida marine ecology by dumping massive amounts of fresh water into the salt water eco systems of Eastern Central Florida.
The canal and dyke systems that were built by the corps of engineers support the interest of agriculture and the dairy farms by supplying a system of drainage canals for the agro chemical trash to enter into and pollute our East Coast water systems. The health and welfare of the people and communities of eastern central Florida are being sacrificed for the profits of an agricultural industry that doesn’t want to pay to clean up after itself.
My state suffers from the same sickness that has infected the rest of the country. The American way has disrespected nature to its ruination.
If the corps of engineers had the integrity to guarantee its own work there would not be a problem. The activities of the corps of engineers in Florida is the state of Florida’s most costly environmental mismatch; corrupt politicians + a profound disrespect for the natural environment + shoddy work.
When the corps of engineers no longer operates in my state of Florida and are replaced by people who care about the preservation of Florida’s natural environment, we will all be healthier and happier. I do not think that the water will be safe for surfers in East Central Florida while they are flushing their chemicals and agro bacteria into our fishing grounds and surfing beaches.
Florida’s politicians and business leaders vote and act as if the state’s natural resources are its country clubs.

The republicans congratulate their war criminal president, President George W. Bush, for keeping America safe from terrorist attack since 9/11.
He did not protect the country from his friends.
Enron, predatory lending to anyone, an illegal war, torture and kidnapping, the human engineering of New Orleans, eves dropping on American citizens, the dismantlement of in-place institutions and laws that protect the working classes of people from the deregulation of industry, the unchecked speculation of our local neighborhoods by the rich; the list goes on…
The congress and the Supreme Court would have to implicate themselves for their part at subverting the constitution of the United States, and crimes against humanity; that is why they will not do their sworn duty as servants of the people and impeach the president, and prosecute those involved in the approval of kidnapping and torture and the eves dropping of US citizens by their own government.
To see how little the US government fears and respects its citizens, go to You Tube and watch the Loose Change video. Would you have believed Rodney King without the video? Would you have believed what happened in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina without a video?
Loose Change tells a storey about 9/11; it is not the same storey you have been told.

Two famous people went to Vietnam during the carpet bombing of civilians by the American military during the Vietnam War, one to take life, the other to save life.
John McCain was shot down in North Vietnam while participating in the carpet bombing of civilian cities there; Jane Fonda, a young actress at the time, went to North Vietnam to protest the war and the murder of children and non combatants by the American military.
The lives of both of these people were influenced by their actions during that time. One hailed as hero, the other labeled as kook.
Who do you think the hero is?
If the American military commanded you to bomb civilian cities would you do it?

I was watching a report on hurricane Gustav when the announcer said, ‘these dots on the monitor represent the 3,700 oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.’ When you see 3,700 dots all jumbled together it looks like a large number.
The announcer does not mention the two thousand odd square miles of oxygen deprived water that is its own sea within a sea that is located all around the oil rigs.
I don’t think that the government and the oil companies wanted U.S. citizens to see all those dots, and relate them to the water they have killed. So thanks a lot weather reporters; you have delivered to us a glimmer of truth.
Write to your congressman and senator to demand a ban on off-shore drilling.

In 1973 I was the white guy who accompanied the all black singing group, The Main Ingredient, that included the very talented people Cuba Gooding Senior, Tony Sylvester, Luther Simmons, and during my time with those singers and musicians I was always blown away by the polish and precision of our performances. The love, enthusiasm and pride that I felt emanating from the audience made me feel like I was involved in something very special.
If politics are anything like music then there is the possibility of something very special occurring in an Obama presidency.
